The insanely popular streaming company Netflix is opening their own 1930's themed speakeasy for a limited time during SXSW. The secret bar will be on the iconic Rainey Street in downtown Austin at Banger's basement bar on March 9th, 11th, and 12th. The exciting new bar will transport its visitors to the 30s with an amazing interactive experience and old fashioned Texan themed drinks.\nAccess to the hidden speakeasy will be free for everyone, even non-SXSW pass holders. The immersive bar is going to be themed after a classic 1930s speakeasy in honor of the release of their new movie Highwaymen, which is based on two Texans and was created by a Texan director.\nThere will also be featured artists attending the event every day to include Durand Jones and the Indications, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, and Jessica Pratt.
