The three B's to live by: BBQ, beer and bourbon. Spring is one of the best times to celebrate all things food and booze. Start your festival season off right by filling your belly (with pork belly) and igniting your buzz at one of many festivals in Charlotte.

The 14th annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is bringing a good old Southern time to the Bank of America Stadium on March 7. Local and regional vendors congregate at this boozy barbecue bash to bring you the yummiest pork, lots of brews and all the whiskey you can handle.

General admission is only $29 and gets you "all-you-care-to-taste" bourbon and beer. They'll even throw in a free souvenir glass to hold your pours.

Make your rounds through all the tents to sample some of the best meat you'll ever eat. You'll get to satisfy your taste buds with pulled pork from whole hogs, ribs, brisket, chickens, sausages and all the fixins’. Slow-roasted, smoked, doused in sauce - they'll have it all.

As noted on the festival website, "It’s a great day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, cigar smokin’, and barbecue eatin’. A true Carolina extravaganza, y'all.

If you're really passionate about this drunken day of fun, you can go all out with "VIP Whole Hog" tickets for $59.

In addition to unlimited alcohol, a souvenir glass and live entertainment, you'll receive a BBQ dinner plate and two extra hours of sampling.

"The Cochon Carnival" on-site will feature fun activities like connect four, giant jenga, basketball, ping pong and more while live rock and blues music take the stage.

For the barbecue-obsessed, you can even shop for goodies like brewerania, hot sauces and BBQ accessories.
