Summer has crept up in the south, which means blooming fields of flowers will be waiting for you to frolic in them. This also means that farms will be opening up for you to pick your own bouquets and step up your Instagram game with a floral photoshoot. And Copper Creek Farm's sunflower field in Georgia is opening its gates next week.

You'll find Copper Creek Farm in Calhoun, Georgia and they're reopening with their Sunflower Festival starting June 12 through July 11.

It's $15.90 to enter and participate in all the fun activities they'll have. For $6, you can add on a full bucket of flowers, which includes the cute bucket too!

You'll be able to go out into the fields and pick your own blooms to take them home with you. The farm will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on select days throughout the week and weekends. They'll be closed on Sundays though.

Don't forget your phone or camera; guests are welcome to take photos with the flowers or of the fields for no extra charge.

Aside from just picking flowers, there are other activities such as hayrides around the farm, a petting zoo, gem mining, a honey bee barn, and so much more you can enjoy to make it a full day of fun in the sun.

An ice cream parlor and a concession stand will be on-site to satisfy your cravings, so you really could spend all day exploring here and finish up with a bite to eat. Copper Creek makes home-made ice creams, malts, sundaes, and shakes which make for a cool treat on those hot Georgia days.

You can even get fresh-squeezed strawberry and regular lemonades to quench your thirst, as well as fill up with savory treats like cheese or pepperoni pizza, a barbeque sandwich, and chips.

You might want to add a little road trip to this mesmerizing farm to your summer bucket list for a flowery adventure with friends.
