This Hidden Fort Worth Lake Has Its Own Water Park You Can Visit

The metroplex has so many awesome water parks and this is one to add to your summer bucket list. Burger’s Lake is a Fort Worth hidden gem that has been around for generations. The spring-fed lake has a crazy trapeze swing and several diving boards that make for the best time ever.
The 30-acre park has a one-acre lake that is perfect for swimming in the summertime. The lake is surrounded by tons of trees that provide the perfect amount of shade that will keep you cool. You can also hang out at one of the two sandy areas and make the coolest sand castle. There is plenty of space for everyone and the lake has over 300 picnic tables for all to enjoy.
The park also has six diving boards of all sizes so that you can keep testing your limits. That, along with a 20-foot slide, makes this a water park you won’t want to miss. If you feel like giving the water a break, they also have both sand and grass volleyball courts. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic equipment to enjoy your day in the sun. They also have a stand that has food and drinks on the chance you don’t want to bring your own.
Tickets to the lake are $15 daily and they are open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will remain open until September 2nd, so you need to stop by while its the summer season! They are open during the major summer holidays including the Fourth of July and Father’s Day. While you can bring your own food and drinks, you are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages.
