So many people dream of frolicking through a field of towering sunflowers, picking out the best ones they find. Although massive plots of land filled with the summer-loving flower aren't super common around Texas, there's actually a sunflower field near Dallas that offers pick-your-own bouquets. You need to stop by this summer to take the most enchanting outdoor photos or to make your own adorable bundle of golden sunshine.

Wild Berry Farm in Sadler, Texas is the greatest place to go if you're looking for the perfect summer day trip.

The farm planted its first sunflowers in 2016 simply as a cover crop intended to preserve an acre of its topsoil. The owners realized how stunning the flowers were, that they continued to grow them every summer season.

Visitors from all over can stop by the farm during the sunflower blooming season to pick their own bouquet of fresh stems. There is also berry picking by season as well, so you can make a whole trip out of visiting Wild Berry Farm.

In 2020, there was less rain than hoped in the spring, which changed the blooming rates of the flowers and potentially the berries too.

The farm predicts that the sunflowers will be blooming in all of their glory around the beginning/middle of June. The berries will possibly be ready around the end of May and both will last throughout the month of June.

To protect its farms and visitors, this year Wild Berry Farm will only be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Visitors coming for the flowers may also feed the farm's fish and participate in a fossil dig! There are typically more exciting activities to take part in, but this year things will be a bit more limited.

When picking berries and flowers, you will be getting your own take-home containers and wraps. You can come to admire the incredible views and bring home a piece of the beauty with you.

To pick berries, you'll pay a $2 field entry fee and $4.50 per pound you pick.
