This Fort Worth Museum Is Having A Boozy Adult-Only Tech Fest This Weekend
Past, future, or both?
Museums are always fun but sometimes they are filled with tons of kids having the first go at all the cool things there is to play with. Well, now the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is having an adult-only Infinity Festival from August 16 to the 17. No, this has nothing to do with the Avengers, but there will be some amazing new virtual reality technology for you to try out.
The event will have a cash bar and you'll get to try all of their new techs. You'll feel like you're really transported to other places. You will not only feel like you're in the future but the tech will also let you travel to the past. Local vendors will be there to help you explore IRL after you are done with your VR adventure. While the 16th is more of a show and tell of all the cool features, the 17th will offer so much more.
On Saturday, visitors will be able to create their own virtual reality tour. You will also have a chance to take an out of this world VR tour and even speak to the in-house astronomers about the technology.
Tickets to the event are just $20 and are on sale right now. Friday's event will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday the fest will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is located at 1600 Gendy St, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. To get tickets and for more information on the even, you can visit their Facebook event page here.
