When it comes to seeing dinosaurs, Texas is the place to go. If you're looking for tons of dinosaur fun, you'll want to stop by Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Life-sized dinos will be coming to the metroplex now until Febuary 17. One of the most prominent inhabitants of the museum will be a 46 foot tall T-Rex that actually moves. The dinosaurs will be spread out throughout the park, so you never know when they might pop up on you. There will be photo stations set up for that perfect Instagram moment that will make it look like you've stepped into Jurrasic Park. There will be trailers for visitors to enjoy, all filled with dinosaurs! You never know what new creature you might run into. With 289 acres to explore, there is no limit to the amount of exploration you can do here. The massive creatures move and roar but don't worry, they can't actually chase anyone around (at least that we know of). There are some dinos that are willing to hold still for photos which is just a nice added touch. The new exhibit is included in the museum's general admission. The massive museum is outdoors, so we suggest bundling up before heading out as these cold Texas winters can get kind of crazy. No matter when you decide to go, you'll surely have a roaring good time. For more fun in the city, you can stop the Dallas Zoo for an adult-only night filled with holiday lights.
