Going to the beach seems like a summer must, but sometimes beaches in Texas can be kind of a far drive that becomes too much of an effort. Thankfully, Grand Prairie's Lynn Creek Park has great sandy beaches that are closer than ever. The beach is on the northwest corner of the Joe Pool Lake and has sand volleyball courts, concession stands, and a swimming area that is truly refreshing.\nThe park allows you to have summer fun on the beach but if sand in your shoes isn't your thing, there is also a grassy area where guests are free to use one of their 100 picnic tables. Some of the tables have grills and you can bring your own snacks. If you don't feel like bringing your own food, there are concession stand where you can get refreshing treats.\nBoat ramps are available for those who are bringing their own and a playground is never far for those are looking to have a little extra fun. There are restrooms and changing rooms so you won't have to get back in your car with wet clothes. On the opposite end of the beach, there is a restaurant that is great to top off your day in the sun.\nView this post on Instagram 🌅Dreaming of lake days, vacas, and sunsets with bae!!
