Grand Prairie Is Having A Free Massive Three Day Festival This Month
The free Main Street Fest is back in Grand Prairie on April 26th.
With the nice Texas weather coming up, nothing seems more fun than an exciting, free festival. Lucky for you, Grand Prairie's free Main Street Fest is coming this April from the 26th to the 28th. The festival will be located on the 200 block of W. Main St and is entirely free for the three days it's running.
At the fest, you'll find a variety of entertainment options including live music, games, rides, and plenty of food.
The festival will have three beer gardens and tons of carnival rides. If you happen to go on Friday, you can enjoy unlimited rides for just $15. The event will also have a farmers market so you can pick up some great local goods while you're having fun. There will also be a pop-up art park at the event where local artists will display their masterpieces and you will be able to purchase at your heart's desire.
One of the more notable attractions at the festival is the Zuzu African Acrobats who will perform multiple times. Their tricks and flips cannot be missed! Once you've seen the show, you can head over to one of the three music stages at the festival for some great live music. Musical performances include The Royals, Tejas Brothers and Street Dance Band "In Version Band."
In the arts & crafts section of the festival, you will be able to find hand made jewelry, art and artisan exhibits to find something perfect for you.
This is the eighth year of the massive festival, and they have no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The festival will be open from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
