When it comes to art, there are certain artists that just cannot be forgotten. Artists such as Renoir, Da Vinci, and Van Gogh will go down in history. Amongst those amazing artists is Claude Monet who paved the way for French impressionism. The truth is, it can be kind of hard to encounter some of his iconic paintings but when you do, they are more beautiful than you have ever imagined before. Well, the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth takes Monet's art to the next level. They have produced a large replica of one of Monet's paintings that visitors can pose with to really make you feel like you’re in the painting.

The big mural-like installation is hanging at the corner of  Magnolia Avenue and Henderson Street and is free for anyone to take pictures with. The large scale replica its part of the museum's way of attracting more people to the exhibit which features many of Monets later works. The installation is more than just a painting on the wall, it's a 3-D reproduction using all botanicals and it’s as close to Monet's "water lilies" painting as one could possibly get.

The museum has also placed another installation in NorthPark Center and while some visitors opt for the casual candid selfie, others have chosen to go in more artistic route and make it as if they are part of the painting and coming right for you.

You can see "Monet: The Later Years" at the Kimbell Art Museum from now until September 15th of this year. Tickets for the exhibit are $18 a person and don’t worry if you happen to run into any of the installations that are completely free.

The Kimbell Art Museum is located at 3333 Camp Bowie Boulevard Fort Worth, Texas 76107. For more information on the exhibit and the museum itself, you can visit their website here.
