A new Lego exhibit has come to Dallas' Perot Museum of Nature and Science. The exhibit is called The Art Of The Brick and features everything from lego sculptures to replicas of famous paintings.

The Art Of The Brick is the worlds largest traveling Lego exhibition created by Nathan Sawaya. Some of the most notable things in the exhibit are Lego replicas of paintings such as Starry Night and Girl With A Pearl Earring.

The exhibit also features pieces that at times require thousands of Lego bricks. Some of the pieces are around 11 to 12,000 bricks while some of the larger pieces can contain up to 20,000 Legos.

There are also stations at the exhibit where you can try your hand at creating your own masterpiece. Being that the exhibit is at the Perot we couldn't do without science. The Perot as provided a station where visitors can learn about the science behind Legos and the engineering work it took to build some of the artwork.

The art itself is supposed to be a commentary on the human condition and has been everywhere from Singapore to Australia. Some of the work is even made to be life-size humans. You can also find other work of art such as dinosaurs. He also created a replica of Dallas' Pegasus sculpture specifically for the Perot Museum exhibition.
