Arcades are a great place to hang out with friends any time of year and two Texas cities will be getting new ones this fall. Bishop Cidercade is opening in Houston and Austin, as stated in an announcement on their Facebook page, and they will both be stocked with plenty of games and tons of cider. Originally from Dallas, Cidercade has 170 games but with their new, even bigger spaces, there are expected to be many more coming.

The Houston location will be 18,000 square feet will a full bar. They will offer tons of cider but wine will also be on hand. The new Bishop Cidercade will be down the street from BBVA Compass Stadium and Minute Maid Park in the EaDo District. The Austin location will be slightly smaller at 13,000 square feet but it will have a huge patio overlooking Lady Bird Lake in Riverside Drive.

There hasn't been any word on which games will be incorporated, but we hope they keep some of the Dallas favorites like their "Fighters Row", where you can play over 10 different fighting games, and their 5v5 Killer Queen Cabinets. Whatever they choose to feature will surely bring lots of fun to their guests. One of those fun things includes tons of pinball games with awesome themes.

The Dallas spot is open to all ages but turns 21+ once the clock hits 8 p.m. and the new locations are predicted to be the same. At their Dallas location, there is a $10 daily fee for unlimited games or a monthly fee of $20 and all their ciders start at just $6.

The new Houston Bishop Cidercade will be located at 1510 Emancipation Ave, Houston, TX 77003 and will be opening this fall. For more information, you can visit their website here.
