A Giant Game Of Thrones 'Fest' Is Coming To Houston This Weekend
Claim the Iron Throne with a drink in hand.
There is only one episode left in the final season of Game Of Thrones! Whether you're really enjoying this season or ready to storm HBO with dragons, the episode will be a must watch. And what better way to say goodbye to eight years of television than by celebrating and/or drowning your sorrows with cosplay and alcohol? Starting this Saturday May 18th, Downtown Houston will be hosting Crawl Of Thrones where you can do just that.
Crawl Of Thrones will feature all of your favorite Houston bars including The Cottonmouth, Lilly and Bloom as well as Etro. During the event, you will be able to enjoy $3 drink specials at all nine bars. There will also be a costume contest where the winner may not win the Iron Throne, but they will win $500 to spend on some great GoT merch.
While this might not be the very last Game Of Thrones themed bar crawl ever, it will be the last one while the show is still running.
Tickets start at just $16 and work their way up to $130 depending on the package of your choosing. All tickets come with a free themed cup, wristband and koozies, but the VIP tickets also come with a themed t-shirt and a commemorative kingdom button.
Dallas is also joining in on the Game of Thrones fun this weekend as the second Texas location to host a massive GOT themed bar crawl. The Dallas crawl will be having a Battle of the Barstards theme.
Check in for the event is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the event will end at 9 p.m.
The Crawl of Thrones will be happening in Downtown Houston. For more information and tickets to the event, you can chek out their event webpage here.
