Get ready to travel back in time this weekend because the Houston Zoo is having an awesome adult only 90s party this Thursday, May 16th. The party will feature everything from lawn games to beautiful exotic zoo animals to your favorite adult drinks. The throwback will start at around 6 p.m. and during the festivities, you and your best pals will be able to enjoy everything the zoo has to offer while leaving the kids at home. Live music will keep things going as a band will cover all your 90s favorites. Vintage arcade games will be around for you to challenge your friends but don't worry, someone will feed your Tamagotchi while you play. Now open, the Houston Zoo’s newest habitat expansion doubles the entire elephant complex and immerses guests into the lives and culture of Asian elephants. Tickets for the event are only $35 and include one complementary drink. The party is 21+ only, and there will be incredible chats set up with elephant, cougar and reptile keepers. This is just one of their events in their "After Dark" series that is aimed to please adults. Other events include a silent disco which will take place on July 18th. They will also host an All About Bubbly event where you can get up close and personal with the animals while enjoying some champagne on August 15th.
