55,000 Lbs Of Snow Will Be Dropping Down In Houston This Winter
Who needs 32 degree weather?
I think we can all admit that snow is pretty hard to come by in most of Texas. Though we get the occasional flurry or ice storm, cities south of Dallas always pray for beautiful wintertime snow yet never get any. This year, however, you can get your winter fix among 55,000 lbs of real snow in Houston this December. Oh, and it's free to enter!
The Blizzard Bash in Fulshear is bringing Houstonites and surrounding Houston towns the greatest heap of snow the area has ever seen. Along with the falling snow will be snow sledding, a snow play area (do you wanna build a snowman?), a petting zoo, tons of food and more. It'll be like you actually dropped into a magical Christmas Town right on the outskirts of Houston.
Our winter favorites Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance so make sure you've been good this year before telling them what you want for Christmas. Though the event is family-friendly, there will still be so much to do if you're headed over alone or with your friends.
You will be able to enjoy an arrangement of food vendors at the event from BBQ to tacos to cupcakes. We're crossing our fingers for some hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream.
If you've been dying for some actual snow in Texas during the wintertime, now is your chance. The event will be on December 20 from 5 PM to 8 PM, so you can see the snowfall among the glow of the twinkling Christmas lights. Don't forget to bring your camera!
