Now that it's spring, we bet anything you're searching for warmer weather and beautiful water views. If you're down to mix a little bit of adventure into your vacay goals, you'll love what's in store. You can take a zip line down 1,000 feet of mountain terrain in Lake Tahoe

Here's the best part. You'll be soaring at speeds up to 50 miles per hour!

This isn't for the faint of heart.

Heavenly Mountain Resort is best known as California's ultimate snowy playground. During the winter months, it turns into a frosty white haven that honestly looks like a snowglobe as skiers and snowboarders effortlessly glide down the slopes.

However, during the spring and summer, they also open up mountain roller coasters, rope courses, and the amazing zip line.

If you're up for it (all pun intended), you can see what it's like to get a bird's eye view over the jaw-dropping natural scenery.

The course (aka Blue Streak) is composed of two parallel lines that run 3,300 feet.

You'll be strapped in way at the top - an astounding 10,000 feet above sea level. Next thing you know, you'll be soaring over the mountain!

There are also a few other options you can take.

Other courses include the Hot Shot Zip Line, which runs for a little over 1,000 feet long. On this ride, participants can reach speeds up to 30 or 40 miles per hour.

We can't think of a better way to experience all the wonders of Lake Tahoe than flying above it all.

However, if you'd rather get some great views from down on the ground (or water), that's an option too. You can rent a completely clear kayak and explore hidden coves around the lake. Who knows what you might see!
