This Las Vegas Waterpark Is Turning Into A Christmas Town This Season
"Let It Snow" in the Las Vegas Valley
Las Vegas may not be warm enough for a waterpark in December, but that doesn't mean you can't visit one. Cowabunga Bay waterpark is turning water into ice this holiday season and transforming into a Las Vegas Christmas Town. We couldn't be more excited.
You can pass on the water slides and enjoy a 100-foot tall sledding hill instead. Along with the palm trees is a 40-foot Christmas tree decked out with 500,000 lights.
The Christmas Town will be open from Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 31. You can even pop by on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Tickets are $20 per person and kids two and younger are free.
The park is lit with over 3 million twinkling lights. There is even a 40-passenger train that runs through the entire park.
There will be a giant bounce house and "snow" ball pit for fun. Get ready to jump into the pit with friends and have a pretend "snow" ball fight.
If you're feeling adventurous try out the 100-foot sledding hill packed with real snow. Or you can strap in and climb up a rock wall.
You can also grab some friends for a laser tag game or for an extra charge, you can join in on a paintball match.
There are plenty of places for super cute photos, so bring your camera and your best ugly sweater. Photos with Santa are free, and there are plenty of lights and trees to pose in front of.
If those aren't enough reasons to visit, they offer a drool-worthy holiday menu.
They'll be serving the best Thanksgiving and Christmas foods including 'Holiday Turkey Sandwiches', pumpkin pie, beignets, hot chocolate, and the most amazing option of all 'Thanksgiving Pizza.'
Narcity has reached out for more information on this unusual treat and will update the article when we receive a response.
