If you don't love crawfish, do you even live in Louisiana? The Cajun classic is so juicy and delish and we jump at the chance to eat it. The only thing better than eating crawfish is eating unlimited amounts of it. This Louisiana Crawfish Cook-off next April is making that possible.

The Slidellโ€™s Crawfish Cook-off is an annual fundraiser in Fritchie Park hosted by the Hospice Foundation of the South. Get ready for the 17th annual cook-off on April 18, 2020, because it's time to get into a crawfish-induced food coma.

Spring marks the peak of crawfish season and the long lines form at all the LA seafood spots. Skip those lines, because you can eat the best-of-the-best home-made crawfish prepared by over 50 teams.

There will be 50,000 pounds (yes, pounds) of crawfish waiting to be eaten, and you can get your hands messy with as much as you want for only $30. That's a literal steal since seafood can be pretty expensive.

All 25 tons of crawfish will be shared amongst a crowd of 8,000 people (that's over six pounds per person). Better come hungry! And yes, there will be beer to wash it all down and get your buzz going.

We're already daydreaming of the all-you-can-eat spicy, buttery delicacies, and April can't come soon enough.

Pay attention to the ones you love the most so you can help them earn the "Best Crawfish in St. Tammany Parish" title.

If you're not an LA native, you may not know how to open and eat the crawfish, but one of the locals will help you add a new skill to your vault. Once you get the hang of it, you won't be able to stop eating.
