This winter, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is holding its 14th annual International Chocolate Festival in Coral Gables. This year's event will feature chocolate plants you can take home, a ChocoSpa, and a chocolate fountain, among other treats! The International Chocolate Festival will be held in January 2020, so mark your calendar now. The festival will begin on Saturday, Jan. 25 and end on Sunday, Jan. 26. There will be multiple chocolate stations set up for festival-goers, including the ChocoWalk, ChocoFacts, ChocoSpa, and ChocoBeer Garden. The ChocoWalk is a tasty expedition for guests to tour the garden and learn how chocolate plants grow. Festival-goers will be given a passport for the journey and can collect stamps at each stop. Guests will be given a living history of the cacao plant, and watch as fine chocolate is made from the ground up, according to Fairchild Garden's website. At the end of the festival, guests can take home a cacao tree or a chocolate-scented orchid!
