Florida's strawberry season is finally here. You can pick strawberries in South Florida at Strawberry Fields of Kendall, a "u-pick" farm in Miami. The farm opened December 5 for the season, now welcoming visitors to pick strawberries from its lush fields. 

Strawberry Fields of Kendall is located at 94th St. and 137th Ave. in Miami, just outside of Kendall. The farm is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, closing at 5 p.m. on Mondays, according to the Facebook page.

The farm will be open for the season from December 2019 to May 2020, according to the Miami Herald. Strawberry season in Florida typically lasts from December to March.

The farm has other locations in Miami, including Turnpike U-Pick and West Kendall U-Pick, and will announce opening dates for these spots soon. Check the Facebook page or Instagram page for future announcements. 

According to the Strawberry Fields of Kendall website, the farm also grows tomatoes, peppers, herbs, flowers for visitors to pick and enjoy. You can pick a bouquet of sunflowers from the farm's sunflower field, a popular spot for photos.
