If you've ever wanted to be a part of the pinball hall-of-fame, you can get the light's flashing at a playable arcade museum and bar in Delray Beach Florida.\nBefore we had modern-day gaming technology we had the flashing lights, bells, and whistles of pinball machines and dedicated arcades to play our favorite titles. The Silverball Museum in Delray Beach Florida is a home for you to relive your childhood - you can geek out on some of the best retro arcade games and get the chance to play on some super rare pinball tables.\nThey have a ton of different games for you to shoot for that biggest high score yet - with 24 arcade machines, 88 pinball tables, and even skeeball or a hoop-shooter if you feel like you need a break after a losing streak.\nTheir game floor features some big-name arcade staples like Frogger, Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders 1&2. The popular ball tables feature names like The Addams Family, Playboy, Evil Knievel, Kiss, Captain Fantastic, and Indiana Jones.\nSilverball Museum really takes you back in time with the rows of machines and neon lights pinned up around the joint. On the 2nd floor, it features an additional bar area that circles around the top of the building like a little boardwalk that looks down into the arcade below, more arcade machines, and a place where you can get a drink or a bite to eat to fuel your next round of flipper mashing. The Blue Bar pass is free, but you won't get to play any games. If you want to play but only plan to stay for a short time, it's $12 for every 1 hour of play time. If you want to play all day they have a daily re-entry pass for $15 that lets you play from open to close and you won't have to pay a fee each time - and you won't need to bring a pocket full of change to play since the machines are set to coin-free use. For a limited time, they're running a '2 for $25 Tuesday' daily re-entry pass deal if you and your BFF or bae want a regular date spot.\n@hyattplacedelrayembedded via\nSilverball is open Monday through Sunday, 11 am to 2 am. They are in their offseason for visitors, so fewer people are frequenting the museum right now, perfect for those who don't want to go out when a bunch of people will be there - this also means their hours are subject to change. Their website says to call in advance if you plan on visiting on a weeknight after 11 pm.\nThey're also known to host different events, have karaoke nights, and book live music performances for those looking to dance the night away under the disco ball or throw a party here. They list their events on an event calendar on their website, with today showing they're closed for a private event; be sure to check before you make a trip.\nIf you're a Pinball Wizard and want to show off your skills, you can visit the Silverball Museum at 19 NE 3rd Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33483. If you wanted to call in advance, their number is listed 561-266-3294 on their website.\nFor more information about the Silverball Museum, their event calendar, and contact information, check their website here.
