The bottom floor of Cloak and Blaster is set up like a medieval dining hall—think the long tables in Harry Potter—and the walls are covered in iconic memorabilia. Swords from Lord of the Rings, maps of fantastical worlds, and almost bottomless collection of board games that you can take back to your table.
The top floor is a lounge dedicated to console gaming. They feature several different couches with TVs and either Nintendo Switches or Xbox. You can add a game onto your tab for about $5 and play to your heart’s content.
The menu is where things really get fun. You’ll find a reference to almost every classic game and movie here, from ‘Chocobo Tenders,’ to ‘Gollum’s Fish ‘N Chips,’ with the bottle list arranged by class (Paladin, Druid, Rogue, etc.).
With over 500 board games, 90+ craft beers, ciders, and meads, delicious tavern fare, and an amazingly inclusive vibe, what’s there to not like?
