It can be hard being a Fall-lover in Florida. The closest we get to changing leaf colors is the occasional palm frond catching fire. That is funny, but unfortunately, not a joke.

Nothing screams Fall more than pumpkins, though, and thankfully, a pumpkin patch near Orlando, Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest has you covered! Aptly named, this farm is bringing cheer to holidays across the calendar.

Jack and Judy Ewing both grew up on farms in North America. When their tiny Christmas tree business, centered around the little-known Choctawhatchee Sand Pine, blossomed into a thriving community-centered place, they started expanding and offering more.

Then came the pumpkins. Freshly picked from Ohio and New York, the pumpkins are kept in a shaded area to preserve their freshness. They’re priced by size, usually between $3 and $12. If you’re wanting to carve your pumpkin, you can even do so at the farm—leave the mess there and keep your home clean!

But Santa’s Tree Forest isn’t just about trees. Or pumpkins. The Ewings know Fall fun, and they do it well. When you visit, you can also check out their mazes, horse and pony rides, hayrides, barrel cart rides, and even 400 feet long zip lines!

The best part? All their attractions are open during Fall hours, not just special events. There is a general $6 admission fee, but there is plenty to do for adults and kids.

A smaller zip line, barnyard petting zoo, and scavenger hunt are also offered for the smaller ones. Food concession are offered on the weekend.

The farm is frequently visited by large groups and school field trips, so you may want to check out their calendar beforehand, or even reserve your trip date just to make sure you get to enjoy all they offer!
