The Orlando skyline is truly a sight to behold, and what better a place to enjoy it from than a lofty hot air balloon ride? The cherry on top is, of course, that the rides are only $20! Don’t get worried, there’s no chance of floating off into the sunset, all the rides are tethered and only reach about 40 feet high. Along with beautiful balloon rides, there are tons of other attractions to check out at The Villages Balloon Festival next month!

The festival kicks off on Friday, February 7 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and general admission is just $15. The first night you can check out all the delicious food vendors, craft stalls, live entertainment, and of course, the balloon rides.

Guests should keep in mind that all balloon activities are dependent on weather.

Saturday, February 8 will offer a morning balloon flight from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., as long as weather conditions are favorable. Then from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., the festival continues.

The bonus day is Sunday, February 9, and you won’t want to miss it.

Known as Mass Ascension, existing ticket holders can gather at 7 a.m. to witness the final ascension for the balloons’ departing flight as they drift off into the horizon.

There will be tons of attractions to check out on the ground though too, including an antique car show, musical entertainment, plenty of food stalls, and even a little circus.

Cirque Bishop is known for their thrilling entertainment, including their riveting acrobatics, juggling acts, stilt walking, fire performances and more!
