View this post on Instagram I signed out of Instagram this week 🙀 Not because I don’t love it (I do) but because I literally had too much to do. I knew that dedicating even an hour a day (or let’s be honest...more) of my time to this platform would severely limit what I could get done. ⠀ ⠀ My yoga teacher always used to say “Everything is revealed with contrast.” My contrast was watching my hand grab for my phone mindlessly throughout the day and tapping the app, only to then remember I was logged out. The contrast was being able to focus on big work projects without feeling the need to capture it and share it. ⠀ ⠀ And look, this isn’t some post bashing Instagram or saying I need “some time away.” I love it here and am not going anywhere. But this little experiment taught me that just like I’ve gotten a handle of my email management, so too do I need a strategy for managing my Instagram time better. Even though I love something, that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t put some constraints on myself so that I can prioritize other things too and find a healthy balance. ⠀ ⠀ 👏🏼 In other news, I pushed Tip Tuesday to today since I had so much going on. I’ll be sharing a bit more about this and tips on email management later on in my Stories. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #makeyousmilestyle #justbehue #howihue #howyouglow #theblogissue #glitterguide #bloggervibes #lcdotcomloves #bossgirlbloggers #chooselovely #savvyblogging#urbanjungle #plantsmakepeoplehappy #jungalowstyle #abmplantlady #dsplants #ihavethisthingwithplants #botanicalpickmeup#plantstagram #urbanjunglebloggers #businesschicks #ladieswholaunch #beingboss #wearethecreativeeconomy #createcultivate #communityovercompetition #thenativecreative #thedarlingnow #abmlifeisbeautiful A post shared by Quinn Tempest (@quinn.tempest) on Oct 3, 2019 at 8:28am PDT You can also order curbside veggies, herbs, and soil to make your garden, perfect for those homemade meals and cocktail garnish needs.
