You Can Release Your Inner Cowgirl At This Rodeo In Arizona This Weekend
It's an Arizona rite of passage.
When people picture living in "The Wild West" there's always an image of cowboys, ranches, saloons, and small towns. While the West is a lot tamer than it was, you can still live out your cowgirl dreams at this rodeo near Phoenix. Be sure to wear your finest flannel.
The annual Rodeo Scottsdale is back in town from March 5 through March 8, 2020. It's got all the classic and authentic rodeo events: barrel racing, roping, bronc, and bull riding, a hoedown, and live country music performances.
Admission is $18 for adults and tickets are available at the event for general admission and box seats.
This four-day festival takes place at Westworld of Scottsdale and is put on by Parada del Sol, a nonprofit organization that provides volunteer and financial aid to various charities.
Not only will you be having a blast, but you'll also be benefiting a great cause too.
Food and drink vendors will be onsite so you can head to the rodeo for a fun date night or evening out. Think of a fair but with a lot more entertainment.
If you've been eager to live out yourdream here in the Southwest, this is your opportunity.
Cowboy hats and boots aren't required, but now is the perfect time to wear them. A flannel wouldn't hurt, either.
There is a list of rules in place to ensure the safety of both the animals and riders during rodeos.
Narcity has reached out to the event organizer to confirm that all animals in the rodeo are treated humanely and ethically. We will update the article when we receive information.
Everybody on three say "Yeehaw cowboy!"
