Some may think that reindeer are simply a work of fiction, but they're actually real. While they can't really fly, you can actually hang out with them at this reindeer Christmas farm in Clare, Michigan to really get into the holiday spirit this year.

This farm, located about an hour north of Grand Rapids, is the absolute perfect place to take anyone so obsessed with Christmas that they need to see the real deal.

The farm has twelve reindeer that you can pet & hangout with, as well as wallabies, alpaca, & cows. I'm sure you've never heard of Santa & his twelve alpaca, but they're still super cute to pet & feed while there.

It's only a $5 entrance fee per person and it's well worth it to see all of these animals.

The reindeer are absolutely majestic & it's awesome to see the animals that make Santa's sleigh "fly" up close & personal...& maybe even spot a glimpse of the man of the ho-ho holidays himself!

Rooftop Reindeer also have a gift shop to take home little reindeer souvenirs for your friends, as well as Dasher's Doughnuts and Drinkables where you can warm up with hot cocoa after you're done petting the adorable animals.

It's a family-owned & operated business and they even make house calls!

Each season the reindeer's caretakers take reservations for Santa & his reindeer visits; they also take the gentle creatures to schools, parades, and even parties.

The animals are well cared for and even have a specialized onsite reindeer vet. Her name is Dr. Brenda and she is one of the vets on the show Dr. Pol on the National Geographic Channel.

You can check out a clip of her helping out on the reindeer farm here

We're ready to admire these enchanting reindeer and really rein in our holiday spirit!
