If you believe in saving the bees, then it should come as no surprise that you're one of many who stands behind this movement. These precious insects must be protected at all costs, and while we're at it, celebrating them isn't a bad idea either. A festival in Austin with bees and honey galore is coming next month, and you do not want to miss out on this sweet day.

Thanks to Texas Keeper Cider and Two Hives Honey, October just got sweeter. On Saturday, October 19th you can attend Austin's 4th Annual Honey Fest. There will be honey-inspired eats and drinks, bee-centric body care, bee-themed henna body art, and so much more!

They're even offering tickets for a series of workshops where you can learn all kinds of new things about bees, honey, and more. Tickets for the workshops are limited, so they highly recommend getting yours ASAP.

General admission tickets are just $15 for adults if you buy them in advance or $18 at the door; kids get in for free! The special workshops range in price from $10 to $20 with one being offered for free called Gardening for Pollinators with La Flaca. Every workshop offers something unique and special to attendees, and their Facebook event page has all the details for each one.

Austin is constantly hosting fun and cool events for people to attend, especially now that fall is finally here. If you're looking for even more things to do in ATX, there's no shortage of events happening in October. 'Bee' sure to add this particular one to your list though, it's going to be a sticky good time!
