San Antonio is no stranger to celebrating cultures from all around the world, it is one of the many reasons the city is so amazing. The San Antonio Zoo is a spot where many events are hosted to do just that. This spring, a weekend celebrating Latin America at the San Antonio Zoo will be hosted with tons of fun and exciting things to do.

Festival De Animales is starting on Saturday, April 25 and lasting until Sunday, April 26.

The zoo is typically open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, so you'll have all day to enjoy the event.

The event is included after purchasing zoo single-day tickets which for adults are just $18.41 and $14.55 for children.

Be sure to check their website to see if you qualify for any sort of discounts before going, they have all sorts of deals going on year-round.

While the incredible San Antonio Zoo may be home to many animals, this event will highlight the animals native to South and Central America.

The usual areas that are open on any other weekend will remain that way, so you won't be missing out on anything.

In fact, if there's any weekend to visit the zoo it's this one because you're getting way more bang for your buck.

The decor that'll be set up for the weekend is going to be absolutely beautiful and full of rich culture and bright colors.

We forgot to mention the best part!

You'll be able to take a culinary tour and enjoy the tastes of Latin America at select zoo restaurants and pop-up booths.

Some of the best food you've ever tasted will be there, it's mouthwatering just thinking about it.
