This California Park Traps You In A 3,500-Square-Foot Maze With Serial Killers This October
Every night is Friday the 13th.
The Haunted Trail Balboa Park is a walk in the park you’ll never forget. To kick off your Halloween fright-fest, you’ll have to escape a 3,500-square-foot maze of terrifying sights and sounds that will leave you shaking. You’ll be feeling your way around in the dark to find your way out.
You won’t know where to turn. Jason has pitched his tent by the lake. To escape him, you’ll have to find your way out of the massive, haunted maze called “the experiment.” As you enter, a creepy young girl wearing a school uniform and covered in blood will lead you to the Ghoul Bus where Freddy Krueger is waiting for you.
The Haunted Trail Balboa Park runs until November 2 from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Hours are extended on specific dates, so be sure to check their website for more details.
Ticket prices begin at $19.99 and vary depending on the night. The maze is included in the admission price.
You’ll start out your night in the haunted maze. If you follow a red balloon, “IT” will lead you to Penny-wise. Watch out, he'll be waiting in the shadows for you. You’ve survived Jason just to come face-to-face with a murderous clown.
Just try not to make too much noise. All throughout the maze, you’ll be running and hiding from famous horror icons like Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, and more. You won’t know where to turn.
Annabelle and The Nun have taken over the farm. Krampus is lurking around the trail and sent his army of snowmen to terrorize the Stranger Things’ Upside Down house.
According to the Haunted Trail Balboa Park, this frightful maze takes about 30 minutes to one hour to complete since the maze is so big. If you want to get out quickly, you’ll have to work together.
Just when you think you’ve made it out alive, guess again. You’ll have to walk through a mile-long haunted trail deep within towering pine trees and twisted oaks.
Watch your back, you never know what evil lurks in the shadows. If you love a good scare, this is the perfect place to get your creep on. You’ll walk through a thick fog filled with ghosts, demons, and plenty of other murderous monsters. This is one night you won’t forget!
