San Diego's Magical Skating Rink On The Beach Is Opening Next Week (PHOTOS)
Ice skating and the sunset? Yes, please.
It may only be Halloween, but we already have a mile-long list of Christmas activities we want to do this winter. Here’s another one to add to the list. You can go ice skating on the beach at this Christmas wonderland coming to San Diego. Now, this is what dreams are made of.
Ice skating and the ocean is the perfect combo we never knew we needed. This scenic rink has it all. Who doesn’t want to watch the sunset over a white sand beach while skating?
Don’t worry if it’s been a while. We’re all like Bambi on ice, TBH.
Skating by the Sea is coming back for its 16th year to San Diego’s historic Hotel Del Coronado from November 22 to January 5. The old Victorian hotel building covered in magical holiday lights provides the perfect backdrop as holiday music fills the air.
Online tickets start at $30 per person or $35 per person at the rink. Your ticket will buy you two hours on the ice. Since skate rentals can be limited during peak hours, we recommend going early if you can.
You can also reserve your own rink-side lounge for an additional cost. Guests can enjoy plush seating around a fire pit with a full food and beverage service.
You can roast marshmallows with your friends, eat holiday-themed treats, and warm up over a cup of hot cocoa or coffee.
Whether you’re looking for a fun holiday activity to do with your BFFs or SO, Skating by the Sea is truly one of a kind. Make sure to wear your favorite holiday sweater and take plenty of pics!
