Storybook wonderlands may not be real, but this spot will make you feel like you've been taken to a faraway land. Meerkerk Gardens in Washington looks like it's out of a fairytale complete with woodland trails, flowering blooms, and stunning foliage. Are you ready to fall down the rabbit hole?

Just a short drive from Seattle on Whidbey Island, this spot is "Inspired by the Rothchild's Exbury Garden in England," according to the website

You can stroll through the winding pathways and immerse yourself in nature for only $5 a person.

It's an affordable day-trip idea right from the city!

On top of it being a reasonable price, the gardens are open daily from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., so you can pop by whenever the fancy strikes.

The Entrygate House looks exactly like something you'd find in a Disney movie. It's actually "the welcome station," where you can pick up brochures and maps of the garden.

One of the most whimiscal areas might be the Ramsey Rock Garden.

Alpine spruce conifers are dotted around the pathways that give the entire space a magical feel.

You can grab your S/O, and you've got yourself an enchanting afternoon stroll just waiting for you.

With 4 miles of trails and 12 acres of gardens on display, this spot is perfect if you're looking to enjoy the outdoors with a view.

There's even a gazebo, where you can take in the sights of "Holmes Harbor, Camano, and Baby Islands with the Cascade Mountains as a backdrop."

It's the perfect place to escape the city and indulge in beautiful mother nature!
