Nestled in the massive desert are hidden hot springs that you can escape to this fall. The Soldier Meadows Hot Springs in Nevada is a true desert oasis. 

Soldier Meadows Springs can be found in the Black Rock Desert of Gerlach, Nevada. There's a total of 6 hot springs for you and your friends to soak in. If there are others in the main pool, it's possible that the other smaller ones are available. 

The hot springs are located on the land of a working cattle ranch, Soldier Meadows Ranch & Lodge, so there's a $10 per person fee to visit the springs. What's great is that these springs are available year-round. 

If you want your furry friend to join in on the fun, you can bring them along for a $10 fee. It can get hot in the desert, so plan on bringing plenty of water and snacks. The lodge can provide you with $2.00 bottomless cold or hot drinks. 

For an ultimate fall getaway, you can rent out one of the lodge's suites. They run about $175 per night and two meals are included with your stay.

If you really want to make an entrance, you can fly into the ranch on a private plane. The lodge has a hard dirt runway available to you.

The hot springs are home to various aquatic life, so you should plan on not using soaps and excessive sunscreens when using the hot springs. You can opt for an eco-friendly brand with no harmful chemicals. While you're relaxing, it's possible to see fish and spring snails in the water. 

Depending on what time of the day you visit the hot springs, you can pack a lunch and have a picnic. You can buy bags of ice at the ranch. They range in price from $3 - $6 per bag.

Before planning a trip to the springs plan on bring a high-clearance vehicle, plenty of food & water, towels, and other necessities.
