Tampa's New Fourth Of July Celebration Will Be HUGE Featuring Multiple Massive Firework Displays
They aren't calling it the Boom by the Bay for nothing!
Independence from tyrannical rule over your country is certainly something to celebrate - and Florida's going to be exploding with celebration this year. Tampa's 4th of July celebration will feature 4 massive firework shows as it stretches across the city.
It's almost that time of year again to celebrate the 4th of July, celebrating our independence from England back in 1776. What started as a day to mark our accomplishment is turning into what Tampa's new mayor Jane Castor hopes to be a new tradition - the Boom by the Bay 4th of July Celebration.
The event will kick off will all-day live entertainment, fun in the sun activities, and a colorful firework display taking place at a few major locations across Tampa - including Armature Works, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, The Tampa Convention Center, The Sail, and Sparkman Wharf.
At Armature Works, you'll find activities such as a car show, a hotdog eating contest, and live musical entertainment. They'll also have a Family Fun Zone on the West Lawn - including bounce houses, face painting, a craft corner, and much more.
The Julian B Lane Riverfront Park will even have a FREE concert starting at 4 pm featuring The Reality, Omari Dillard, Ivy Alex and more before the fireworks begin.
Meanwhile, at the Tampa Convention Center, you'll find a variety of games and food options to celebrate the 4th - which also has a prime firework viewing spot on the circle drive near The Sail.
More fun 4th of July activities will be spread across the other locations. Together, all locations will be bringing a whole Independence Day load of excitement to The Bay!
As the day winds down, the real reason you came to the celebration will begin - the massive fireworks display. This 4th of July celebration will go big or go home featuring 4 separate firework displays simultaneously being shot up and across 2.5 miles of Tampa's famous Riverwalk. The display will last about 20 explosive minutes.
They aren't calling it the Boom by the Bay for nothin'! You're going to want to see this booming display - Ooh and ahh at the Riverwalk's skyline as it lights up with a flurry of color, casting gorgeous & sparkly reflections across the water.
