Learn more about Hinduism, experience culture, and satisfy your wanderlust all without leaving the Sunshine State. The best part? It's free to visit!\n View this post on Instagram 🙏🏼 Hindu Temple of Florida 🙏🏼 Turning a corner in a regular Florida neighborhood, you suddenly see this beautiful structure tower into the blue sky. 🇮🇳 It really feels like a quick vacation to India to wander these grounds. It’s oh so beautiful and radiates a deep calm. 👚 Other visitors were nice enough to point us in the direction of the shoe room, where everyone has to leave their shoes before climbing the temple. It’s also appropriate to cover legs and shoulders, so no short shorts or tank tops. 🕉️ You can buy different blessings here or just marvel at the lavishly decorated goddess statues. The receptionist at the top of the temple (“the desk upstairs”) is happy to explain everything to you. 💁🏼 I’m not really religious but I would say I’m spiritual. So I appreciate the atmosphere of holy places. They just have good vibes. 👉🏼 Would you visit? 💾 Save this post for your to-go-list! #visitflorida #atlasobscura @atlasobscura #floridablogger #pureflorida #fun_in_florida #hashtagflorida #exploreflorida #igersflorida #Tampa #florida #TampaBay #iloveTampa #igerstampa #TampaFL #tampaflorida #lovefl #exploretampabay #downtowntampa #tampablogger #stpeteblogger #thisistampabay #tampaproud #unlocktampabay #whenintampa #hiddentampa #livetoexplore #girlsabroad #passportexpress #wearetravelgirls #flashesofdelight A post shared by Lisa | German Wunderkind ✨ (@lisa_ventures) on Sep 15, 2019 at 6:25am PDT\n\nWebsite\nSo what are you waiting for?
