Hiking can be an amazing way to enjoy yourself in the great outdoors and what could be more rewarding than reaching a breathtaking view at the end of it all? Window Trail at Big Bend National Park offers the perfect light hike that leads you right to a "top-of-the-world" mountain view. From the top, you can see the most insane views the park has to offer. Texas has tons of great trails to hike but none could be as beautiful as this one.\nThe trail is a good five miles and there is rarely any foot traffic. To get to the top, you'll need to climb the most beautiful set of stone stairs and maybe jump over a creek or two. Summer and early fall are the best times to hit the trail and don't worry about the heat because there is plenty of shade to keep things cooled down.\nAt the top, you'll see a "window" where the two mountains open creating the perfectly instagrammable moment for all its visitors.\nView this post on Instagram To the windowww, to the lodge (to the lodge), to the sweat drop down my socks, to all these insects crawl 💩 A post shared by Anna Wang (@helloanna_) on Mar 13, 2017 at 11:04pm PDT\nSince the trail is located in the national park, we always recommend checking the Big Bend Facebook page for trail closures due to crazy Texas weather.
