From arid deserts to snowy mountains and bright blue water, Arizona is full of diverse landscapes. Last year, over 6 million people visited the state's favorite national park too. If you are looking for things to do at the Grand Canyon, then you're in luck. Below we've created a list of activities that are more than just a walk in the park. Some of them are free but you'll still need to pay for an entrance fee. They're $35 per vehicle or if you're riding in on the train, you can purchase an individual pass for only $20 per person. Whether you're an Arizona native or tourist, these activities are so unique that you'll want to add them to your bucket list ASAP. The Grand Canyon Railway Price: $82 for adult coach seats (roundtrip) Address: 233 N. Grand Canyon Blvd, Williams, Arizona Why You Need To Go: Although you don't go through the park, you'll get scenic views along the way and you'll be able to take pics of the South Rim once you reach your destination. View this post on Instagram The Grand Canyon railway - what a wonderful way to travel to the Grand Canyon 🚂👌 It’s definitely a “great” train journey with interesting scenery and on-board entertainment. Where else would you get fascinating information about local wildlife, 🦂🐍serenaded by cowboys 🤠and “robbed” by outlaws ..... (who fortunately were then arrested by the sheriff 🤠) whilst travelling to and from one of the worlds great natural wonders? We were lucky enough to have the company of good friends too - a truly memorable day ☺️ . . #transport_tuesday #grandcanyonrailway #grandcanyon #greattrainjourneys #efe_snapshots_travel #total_transport #trainstagram #railroad #pocket_rail #arizona #visitarizona #pocket_usa #usaphotolovers #just_unitedstates #insta_america #icu_usa #loves_united_states #total_americas #raw_usa #grandcanyonnationalpark #visit_arizona #excellent_universe #excellent_america #explore_earth_ #ig_greatshot #beautifuldestinations #ig_great_pics #worlds_beautiful_photos #hidden_igers #the_undiscovered A post shared by Jan (@janpandrum) on Dec 3, 2019 at 4:49am PST Website Grand Canyon: A Journey of Wonder Film Price: Free When: The movie starts every hour and half-hour. View this post on Instagram Here’s a glimpse into two weeks of my life down in the Grand Canyon. What’s not shown: • all of us dying daily in 105+ heat • the stoke of not flipping a single boat • Kayla going big on an inflatable unicorn named Snickerpop (or something) • stars • us running out of beer • the charming Kiwis • dumb ass native fish • sleeping on rafts • nudity • me almost killing myself jumping off a rock before checking the depth Moral of the story – always check the depth of the muddy water you’re jumping into. And, bring more beer. #grandcanyon #grandcanyonrafting #coloradoriver #coloradoriverrafting #whitewaterrafting #heatstrokeorheatstoke #beer #soberjumping #desertishotaf A post shared by Byron Saylors (@byronsays) on Sep 3, 2019 at 10:33am PDT Website South Rim Mule Ride Price: $142.83 per person When: Year-round (winter hours the ride departs at 10 a.m.) Address: 10 Albright Street, Grand Canyon, Arizona Why You Need To Go: You can get amazing views from the park on this unforgettable mule ride.
