Atlanta isn't the only city in Georgia that knows how to have a good time. When you get outside of the perimeter, there is a growing party and concert scene that any lover of a good time will enjoy. Millennials can truly make a good time out of anything, and we Georgians are no different. This month, Georgia will have a crazy 2-day concert crawl where over 80+ bands will jam out across 20 stages. The Bragg Jam 2019 is a massive music extravaganza taking party hopping to the next level. The concerts are located around downtown Macon, Georgia and start around 4pm in the afternoon on Friday, July 26 - Saturday, July 27. The origin of the festival a bit of a sad story. Local Macon singer/song-writer Brax Bragg and his youngr brother Tate took a road trip in 1999 before a national tour with his band, The Buckleys. During the brothers' cross-country roadtrip, the bros got into a tragic and ultimate fatal car accident in Texas. A close friend of Bragg set up a jam session a few weeks following the accident and years later the jams continued. What started as a few close friends honoring a fallen bro, has grown into a huge party for all residents of Macon and visitors to enjoy. Not only are you and your friends having a crazy good time, but it's all for a good cause. The set lists keep growing as we speak so stay up to date on who's added and to what staged by following the Bragg Jam Facebook event page for all the details.
