Have you ever dreamed about owning your own lush beautiful garden? Just because you're inside for a while doesn't mean you need to push pause on your favorite hobbies. You can take a free online gardening class online and learn to grow farm-fresh veggies at home.

This Oregon State University class is so popular, that about 1,000 people per day are signing up!

Since the class is all web-based, you can take it at your own pace.

When you register, you'll get helpful information on how to plant your garden, prepare the soil, and harvest delicious, ripe vegetables for cooking.

Now, all you need is a fun gardening hat to make it official. *winks*

You'll also learn from master horticulturist Gail Langellotto who trains local volunteers about the fun world of science and the art of gardening.

To grow your vegetables, Langellotto says you'll need a place with plenty of natural sunlight.

So, if you live in an apartment or house, try to find a window or porch area where your plant babies can get a lot of Vitamin D.

They'll need at least eight hours of sun per day and at least half of it must come from direct sunlight.

The morning sun is the best, he says, since it allows the soil to warm up and stay hot throughout the day.

It's also important to avoid keeping your garden in low areas. This can cause drainage problems if the plant is overwatered (we've all been guilty of this at one point).

Along with these pro plant tips, you'll also get a 24-page downloadable booklet, so you can learn how to master your green thumb.

All in all, it's a fun way to learn a new skill and add a little nature to your home. Soon, you'll be a proud plant parent in no time!
