There's no denying the sheer volume of Pacific Northwest's lakes, coastlines, and stunning waterfalls that are waiting to be explored. But if you're looking for some of the best PNW kayaking while you're at it, then we've got a treat for you. You can rent glass kayaks that literally glow in the dark and tour a mystical lake near Washington.

Jo Paddle in Joseph lets you explore one of Oregon's 7 wonders, the crystal Wallowa Lake, in just as clear see-through boats!

The glass canoes can hold up to 425 pounds and you can rent it out for two, four, or six hours any day of the week starting at $35 per hour.

But it's their 1.5-hour night tours that literally steal the limelight.

Starting at $85 per person and $120 for a tandem, two-person paddle, the lit-up kayaks come with two adjustable seats, a large dry bag to keep water out of your belongings, a permit, and two bright orange life vests.

The after-hours adventure will let you paddle under the starry skies and peek into the unseen world below.

You'll see fish, car-sized boulders, and treasures on a rainbow of colorful pebbles.

It's suggested you paddle within 25 yards of the shoreline for best views because the lake gets awfully deep in the middle — we're talking 299 feet deep, folks.

They even have a "Wallowa lake monster expedition" where you can scour the depths of the water for Wally, the legendary lake monster that was reportedly spotted in 1885 and numerous times after.

The website mentions, "this expedition takes place during presumed feeding hours." *gulp*

If you're not up for monster-hunting, they also have bucket-list tours for special lunar events like the May Super Full Flower Moon or to welcome the new crescents for 2020.

They get filled out fast, so we suggest making your reservations asap.

You can check here to see what adventure fits you best.

The best part? It's perfect for beginners too as no previous kayaking experience is required.

Smoking, sticky drinks, children who weigh under 30 pounds, and pets aren't allowed aboard the glass canoes but bring your sense of adventure, and prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime treat.
