This Trippy Tree House In Washington Is So Weed-Friendly It’s Named After Pot
Relax in the clouds, literally.
You know how you want to get real close to nature sometimes? I think we just figured out what that phrase means IRL. Amongst all of the spectacular treehouses in Washington, we've found one that is actually pot-friendly!
A short 90-minute drive from Seattle, the Pot Leaf Tree House is tucked away in a grove of old firs and cedars in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Monroe.
It's a part of the Mountain Views Tree House Joint which has other "bud and breakfasts" as well.
The 21+ stay costs $200 a night for up to four people — that's only $50 each if you split it four ways.
Perfect for an adult, marijuana-filled slumber party, the 100-square foot room comes with three beds — one single, one double, and a twin. There's even a seating area with cushions that converts into beds at nap time.
The woodland retreat is the host, Tracy Rice's brainchild and is part of her property. It expects smoking within its walls, so smoking essentials like bongs are also provided.
The pretty purple-pink interiors come with trippy cushions, and actual branches with strung-up fairy lights to elevate the experience. You'll even have to climb up a couple of branches to get to your bamboo bed!
There's a glass cupola over it and uncovered windows so the sun can be the one to wake you up.
This magical retreat comes with WiFi and a couple of electrical outlets to keep you connected with the rest of the world.
Guests are required to bring extra blankets, pillows, ice, and prepared food for the inevitable munchies.
This space includes a three-in-one cooking station where you can make coffee, skillet and microwave oven-friendly treats too.
There's even a private outdoor shower and a porta potty is located at walking distance from this spot. For a $25 upgrade, you can use the bathroom in the main house instead.
If you want to get some fresh air or enjoy the evening under the stars, there's a communal fire pit with hammocks and a hot tub.
Make sure to bring your own firewood to roast those s'mores though.
If you're an animal lover, you're in for a treat. There's a resident horse, donkey, and miniature pig called Veggie Might who's almost always in a tutu on the property.
You can also bring your pooch along to this getaway, but they must be pre-approved by the host.
Living in the Evergreen State means a ginormous amount of trees. So, whether you're an outdoorsy person or not, this one will have you planning a weekend getaway ASAP.
