This Chinese Style Garden In North Texas Is Out Of This World

If you’re a fan of great agriculture and beautiful gardens, you have to check this place out! Chandor Gardens in Weatherford, Texas has both Chinese and English styled gardens that are so beautiful, you’ll want to see it with your own eyes. With a 30-foot waterfall and tons of fountains, you’ll never want to leave.
The three and a half acre garden has so much to explore including their very popular moon gate. The gate was built in 1949 then restored in 2010. It has always been a popular spot for tourists to take beautiful pictures. The gate is made from stone and bottles with the most gorgeous views of the garden in the back.
The garden has become a popular spot for mediation and with soothing fountains all around, it is easy for someone to stay for hours. There is even a designated meditation area called Cave Grotto. The cave has a concrete bench designed by the original garden owner Douglas Chandor himself. They also have a stepping stone pond that is perfect for any picture.
Lots of visitors come to see the breathtaking waterfall but it was almost an abandoned idea. The waterfall wasn’t completed until the 1990s when the gardens were being restored. Chandor Gardens is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. Admission tickets are just $5 for adults.
