Springtime in Texas is debatably the best time of the year. It's not too hot and not too cold and when it's not raining, the weather is perfect for a day outdoors or a nice picnic. But what is a picnic without a view? Lucky Park in Witchita Falls, Texas has some of the best views and spots for you to have a perfect day outdoors.\nThe park is 178 acres big and there is no shortage of amazing hidden gems all around. One of the more notable attractions of the park is its stunning waterfall. The falls are truly gorgeous any time of year. Most of the year the water is a beautiful sparkling blue but in the rainy season, the park often throws a 5k for people to be able to enjoy the mud of it all.\nView this post on Instagram Today I opted for shorter driving time (only 7 hours!) in favor of spending more time doing fun things. Hung out at Hot Springs for a bit longer this am, got to spend an afternoon with my favorite person @brendanmcwhirk and finally a little bike ride around a beautiful park in Wichita Falls. 🚙 Aiming for a similarly fun filled day tomorrow!! #crosscountrykailey A post shared by Kailey Ruel (@kaileybreen) on Aug 29, 2018 at 7:52pm PDT\nThe park is also great for going on a run as they have a 2 mile concrete trail that circles the park. With suspension bridges plus a 18 hole disc golf course, there is definitely something for everyone. At the pond area, you will surely be able to find a duck or two and you can take the most instagrammable pics with their Asia inspired garden designs.\nView this post on Instagram Looking for summertime — #portrait #portraiture #portraitphotography #makeportraits #makeportraitsnotwar #lucypark #wichitafalls #wichitafallsphotographer #texasphotographer #model #modeling #summer #summerphotography #summertime A post shared by Niko McWilliams (@nikomcmedia) on May 8, 2019 at 7:18pm PDT\nVisitors also have the option of renting out a giant log cabin that sleeps up to 55 people! When there, you have access to their large swimming pool for a whole day or weekend of fun!
