Festival season is finally here and it's just as much about food as it is about music. If you like sipping and sampling some of the best foods and drinks in Georgia, this massive food festival in Atlanta 2020 may be your golden ticket. Some of the best restaurants neat the city will be serving up lots of yumminess when it comes to the bites and booze.
Food That Rocks 2020, produced by , is a 21 and over party celebrating the beloved restaurants in Sandy Springs. This massive food frenzy will be taking over City Green at City Springs on May 2 this year.
Revelers can fill their bellies with over 20 of the area's most renowned eateries and get their buzz going strong with bottomless drinks.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., foodies can satisfy their tastebuds with. Restaurants including City BBQ, Rush Bowls, Crab404, Chef Rob’s Caribbean Café and il Giallo Osteria & Bar will be serving up all things, savory, salty, spicy and .
Additionally, the rain or shine event will feature live nostalgic music from the '80s, '90s and beyond, performed by Saved By the Band.
General admission tickets are $70 and VIP tickets are $80, granting you access to the festival an hour before the festival begins.
Your ticket will include all the food tastings and you can sample as much beer, wine and cocktails from local makers with no limits (until last call at 10:30 p.m).
You can even put your inner food connoisseur to the test by taking note of each sample and submitting your vote for "Best Taste" that will be announced toward the end of the festival.
If you want to support a good cause, you can bring non-perishable goods to be donated to Community Assistance Center, which feeds about 500 local families per month!
