These Florida Gardens Will Have The Prettiest Pink Cherry Blossoms In Bloom This Spring
Cherry bl-awesome!

Cherry blossoms are the elusive Japanese staple that remains hard to come by in our rainforest-like atmosphere. Thankfully, if you are in search of cherry blossoms blooming in South Florida, during certain times of the year a visit to Morikami Museum & Japanese Garden won't disappoint.
We have written about the events that take place here and how the gardens are a cosplayer's heaven, but we have not touched on the subject of perhaps the best part; blooming cherry blossoms.
Growing cherry blossoms in South Florida can be a tricky situation because of the weather. According to the University of Florida, this tree is best suited for areas of North and Central Florida. But, with the proper care and dedication, Morikami has found a way to make this rarity a reality.
The blossoms are only in bloom for a short amount of time, and according to an employee, the trees usually bloom around February. So if you want to see them, you have to plan your timing just right! We suggest you call ahead before visiting to confirm if the trees are in bloom.
Of course, there is so much more than just cherry blossoms to see here, so a trip to the gardens should be warranted at any time of the year. After all, it is a lot cheaper than a flight to Japan!
