Orlando's known for it's the amusement parks, hidden bars, & endless entertainment on I-Drive; but if you venture away from the city just a little bit you'll find some of the most gorgeous bodies of water imaginable. Adventurers looking for things to do near Orlando will want to add this enchanting emerald spring run to their bucket list — & it's only a 40-minute road trip from The City Beautiful.

Located at Kelly Park in Apopka Florida, Rock Springs Run is a crystal clear floater's paradise that will take you on a down-stream adventure. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom, making for some seriously dreamy photo ops.

The tubing pass will wind you through some of Florida's most luscious natural scenery stretched across about a mile of distance. Thick tropical landscape lines the river's banks, making you feel like you're kayaking or tubing through the amazon right here in the Sunshine State.

In total, it takes about 25 minutes to float the entire river run from start to finish if you don't stop to take in the stunning sights around you. Throughout your Amazon adventure, there are plenty of opportunities that open up for you to swim around, snorkel, or snap the most perfect nature shots. The river runs alongside Wekiwa Springs State Park that is also totally worth a visit while you're in the area.

To float this natural lazy river you'll need your trusty tube or kayak — if you have your own, load it up in the car & get ready to paddle through paradise; personal tubes can be brought as well, as long as they are no longer or wider than 5 feet.

If you don't have your own, Get Up And Go Kayaking offers clear kayak tours at Rock Springs, or you can rent a tube from Rock Springs Bar & Grill nearby for only $7.

According to their questions section on Google, rentals are available as early as 7 a.m. on weekends, or 8 a.m. on weekdays. Admission to the park is only $3 for 2 people, making it a super affordable spot for a date day too.

We're already begging bae to take us on this serene floating adventure. If he won't take us, our BFFs will!
