Now that the weather finally isn't blazing hot anymore, it's the perfect time to get into nature and see what it has to offer. If you're lucky, you may even be able to see some brightly colored fall foliage in Georgia. There are so many stunning hikes in the state, but if you want to see some of the most beautiful views around, you're going to have to head to north Georgia. Your first stop should be Pinnacle Knob, which you'll find on Bartram Trail in Clayton, Georgia. The trail is about 35 miles long, so you can just do a portion of it in a day or opt for backpacking a multi-day hike. It's going to take you through stunning temperate forest scenes, and you'll pass waterfalls as get up close and personal with the gorgeous Chattooga River. The best part of the hike is definitely the overlook you'll find at Pinnacle Knob. When you're up this high, you can see the surrounding mountains in incredible detail. It's absolutely stunning when the leaves are changing colors, but it really is beautiful at any time of the year. A tip: Don't go on a foggy day, most of the beautiful scenery will be hidden in the clouds. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:8-10) A post shared by Kaleb | ATL PHOTOGRAPHER (@kalebeastphoto) on Feb 11, 2019 at 5:17pm PST If you decide that you want to complete a "thru-hike," see if you can make it to Pinnacle Knob as the sun is setting.
