City Park Botanical Gardens

Why You Need To Go: This massive botanical garden is hidden in NOLA's famous City Park and there are so many plants and rare flowers to look at and explore through. 


Woldenberg Riverfront Park

Why You Need To Go: You'll have a beautiful view of the Mississippi and huge boats going down the river. It is the perfect place to walk hand-in-hand with your boo and just relax after you explored the French Quarter. 


Bayou Segnette State Park

Why You Need To Go: This spot has the perfect landscape to just stop and stare at. The marsh and swampland make it the perfect environment for rare plant species and many animals. You'll be able to spend hours here, easily. 

Rip Van Winkle Gardens

Why You Need To Go: These semi-tropical gardens are located on Jefferson Island. They are located below many 350-year-old oak trees that make for a pretty walk. You'll also have some pretty cool views of Lake Peigneur

Lake Bruin State Park

Why You Need To Go: This is the smallest park in the state, which makes it more romantic and intimate. There are multiple piers that you can take a stroll down and you can admire the beautiful sunset over the large lake.


Black Bayou Lake

Why You Need To Go: There are miles and miles of wooden boardwalks that will take you under massive oak trees with Spanish moss. You'll be lead to a massive blue lake and you'll probably even see a few wild animals on your adventure. 


The Gardens American Rose Center

Why You Need To Go: You'll be able to walk through hundreds of rose gardens of all different colors. This is the nation's the largest park dedicated to just roses. You'll literally stop to smell the roses.
