This Artsy Airbnb In Georgia Will Take You On A Trippy Adventure
Stay right in the middle of a one-of-a-kind garden.
Throughout the past few years, Airbnbs have been on the rise and the most popular places to stay when you go on vacation. Not only that, they are usually cheaper than renting a hotel room for a few nights, so it's a win-win for you. It is even better if the homes or apartments have neat features. This specific duplex in Georgia is one-of-a-kind and everyone needs to at least go visit it once.
Only 90 miles outside of Atlanta, you will find Howard Finster's Paradise Garden. Reverend Finster was an amazing artist and he said God gave him visions; he would then recreate them with art. You will find art made out of recycled materials, concrete, glass and other things you otherwise would throw away.
On his property, he has put these unique pieces of art up for the world to see. It is a whirlwind of all different pieces that you can look at in a few buildings on his property. There are two suites to this duplex that are right by the gardens. You can book them on Airbnb and roam the gardens after hours.
If you do not want to stay and are just there to visit for the day, you can take a self-guided tour from Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can take as long as you want to take in all the creativity and let your mind be blown.
To get the entire creative experience, you need to spend the night in one of the suites. Suite #1 is the smaller of the two and it is great if you have a three-guest party. You will get a full kitchen, a one-bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. Suite #2 is a little bigger and can fit four guests. There are two beds, a full kitchen and one bedroom.
Both of these suites include full access to the gardens. The rooms are just as creative as the gardens are, so you will be immersed in art during your entire stay.
Suite #1 runs at about $98 per night and Suite 2 runs at $110 per night since it is a larger space. It is hard to get these kinds of rates at a chain hotel, so you will be getting a bang for your buck for this rental.
There have been over 25,000 visitors since 2012 and that number is rising every month, and for a good reason. It is two acres and you can walk through over 15 different structures and areas on the property to see everything it has to offer.
Similar to this location, Rock City Gardens at Lookout Mountain has artwork that mimics this destination..
Price: To visit, $15. To stay, $98-$110.
