New Mexico is nicknamed the Land of Enchantment for a reason, and a good one at that. The state is home to numerous spots worthy of exploration, and where there's more history involved, chances are there's more exploring to be done. A historic park in New Mexico with ancient ruins absolutely fits the bill, and you won't be disappointed after making a trip out to it.\nChaco Culture National Historical Park is home to the remains of Puebloan culture dating between 850 and 1250 CE. So, yeah, it's pretty ancient.\nThe Visitor Center is normally open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for this season until Thursday, April 30, and is set to reopen again on Friday, May 1 through Saturday, October 31. The new open hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.\nFees for admittance range from $15 to $100 depending on the vehicle you're coming in and how many people are coming along.
